Its not even that bad right now...Euros are the ones who really love them. I guess because Europeans are so antisocial the only time they get to socialize with strangers of their own country is when they go on their generals.

I don't dislike generals because of the language element- people can practice foreign language or talk in their native language in the generals rather than spreading it all over the board. I think you can't really separate /int/ from multiple languages either.
That said /int/ would be ruined if it drowned completely in generals and it's already getting to that for some. Maybe a board split would be good.
