I think Canada might have the least culture of any country. (no offense canadians aren't bad, they're better than Mexicans). Second least culture is probably Finland, mostly just empty buildings and snow there... i'll say Finland is tied with S. Korea. That's as far as i'll go... fill in the rest.

1. We were all "Americans" in the 1700s
2. (Anglo)-Canada was largely barren before American Loyalists were resettled there
3. The "Canadian identity" was forged long after the subsequent waves of migration from the British Isles
Also, I recall learning from one of your own TV specials that early Canadian schools forced the children of the Loyalists to speak more "British" because their accents were deemed "too American"
Worst posters
Canada's culture is basically "ayyy let's take in a shit ton of immigrants and be multicultural as fuck :DDD"
Not saying we had much of one before that, it was pretty much on the same level as America.

>[English Canada] inherited, not the benefits, but the bitterness of the Revolution. It got no shining scriptures out of it. It got little release of energy and no new horizons of the spirit were opened up. It had been a calamity, pure and simple.[106] To take the place of the internal fire that was urging Americans westward across the continent, there was only melancholy contemplation of things as they might have been and dingy reflection of that ineffably glorious world across the stormy Atlantic. English Canada started its life with as powerful a nostalgic shove backward into the past as the Conquest had given to French Canada: two little peoples officially devoted to counter-revolution, to lost causes, to the tawdry ideals of a society of men and masters, and not to the self-reliant freedom alongside of them.[106]

> He was the most nationalistic of Canadian historians, and highly distrustful of immigrants, Americans and any others outside of what he considered to be the Canadian family
I won't bother defending Canada. It is a cultural void.
I am seriously considering becoming a chinaboo so I can experience a lifetime under a strong culture, in a country with clear goals for the future. Canada's whole bit is about having the minimal cultural foundation required (ex. Charter values) while allowing people from all over the planet to bring and continue to live their own cultures on top. But China has dreams, connections to its past, values (albeit disparate to "liberal democracy), and massive growth opportunities. I think it'd be fun being part of that tidal shift in the world, instead of fettering away in a raw-resource, america-keked country which is destined to mediocrity and -3 to 3% growth rates.

Literally all it has is a series of trifles and imagery you associate with "Canadianism" - various animals, unhealthy foods, muh hockey, muh nature. There is no Canadian essence that you can feel as soon as you enter into a Canadian's home, or interact with a Canadian.
Canada could have been different - it could have been a land with two significant cultures and lifestyles - British and French. But instead it melded the two together, forgot itself in the process, and then opened its asshole to become some globalist playground.
If Justin Trudeau is considered the personification of today's Canada, then I want nothing to do with that. I hate every theme and value he purports and speaks of. I feel no greater attachment to this

than I do to the Chinese communist party.
So I'm not going to limit myself to a miserable existence here just because I was born here.
>>52158123
I would definitely prefer to be an American during its golden years, but America too is become less "American" and more "global". It is shedding its former ideals of entrepreneurialism and innovation, and is instead just becoming a mishmash of world cultures. Daring to impose classical ideas of what "american" is would be considered racist. And innovation has been subsisted with laziness, apathy, and hedonism.
And I would definitely prefer to live in a European nation during its golden years, but they too have set on the path of destroying their national identities by merging themselves into a melting pot that is the EU. Another globalist playground.
