Yes it's fine here. It was still horrible about 10 years ago, but speed cameras and hefty tickets have definitely calmed people down. Driving is far worse in the Mediterranean and Eastern European countries I have been to. Obviously the German world and Nordics have far better manners, but when you compare us to the shitholes of the world it's refreshing. Cars stop to let you cross the road, people use turn signals, helmets on motorbikes and generally follow the speed limits. It can get much much worse from what we have here.

In the past 8 years I haven't even thought about the traffic being bad. It's just a normal city. Even my parents rarely complain about the traffic unless it's slow.
The only people I can imagine throwing around hyperboles on how terrible the traffic culture in the city is are office wageslaves, for whom the drive to work and back is the highlight of the day.
