also, that siberian turkic land was so unpopulated that a single russian putting his foot in there changed the total demography and only little areas are still turkic
helo where are the kumis xDDD
Can I post here as a Turkslav (yeah, I know I can't, just passing by).
>>52151341
Any place that has more than %10 Turkic rate is a rightful Turkic clay by default. Actually no land worths taking it, even if it has 1 k*rd on it. It's like buying a house, even after seeing it's full of cockroaches.
>>52151484
Elaborate on Turkic rate. 10% speakers of Turkic languages?
>>52151657
Well I am not gonna be racist about it, so it mostly based by language and culture. Yet I would never classify An*tolians and k*rds or some other shits as Turkics, just because they speak a Turkic language. Because their culture is obviously not Turkic.
>turkic
>being a meme people
You are arabs.
>>52151657
Ah, OK, I've seen this attitude amongst Turkic peoples of Russia mostly (especially the Kazakhs, if I'm not mistaken, have a special derogatory term for Turkic-speaking agriculturalists who can't trace their ancestry to a certain Khan/Beg and live off the land instead of being herders; the word is "sart", if I'm not mistaken). That's that, however, you don't consider Turks or Azeri Turkic, if I understand you correctly? Or Volga Tatars, for that matter. Hmm... But what else defines "Turkic"?
>>52152004
>what else defines "Turkic"?
Basically, speaking a Turkic language and culturally not being Arabs or Russians.
>>52152107
That's a tough call, though. Can't think of any Turkic people that has preserved their language AND evaded the Orthodox Christian or/and Muslim cultural and political influence. Uygurs, maybe... Yet some of them are Muslim, iirc.
>>52152393
There is a difference between being influced by some other cultures and literally being one of them. So countries as a whole cannot be inside those classifications but people can be. And Turkey is definetely not a Turkic country, I can easily say that after living in there for 20 years.
>>52152534
Story? And yes, as a Turk I can confirm that we're not the proud steppe warrior Tengriists that we once were. I mean there are still some Central Asian elements in our culture but it's not really much more than that: an element. We're mostly a blend of European (Balkans+Greek+ and middle eastern (Arab+Persian) shit, which is disappointing when you consider how c.ucked we must be at this point compared to 1000 years ago.
