Then on Christmas eve we eat codfish, Play card games n bingo n shit and open the gifts.
In the next day we eat codfish leftovers.
In the following days untill new year we eat leftovers of all the sweets and cakes.

Chinese food for dinner on christmas eve as per ny jew custom, go to mass, get home, eat rice pudding, whoever's bowl has a hidden almond opens first gift, someone reads the nativity until right before jesus gets his foreskin chopped off, awkwardly sing a couple of verses of a few christmas songs, then go around as one person opens a gift at time.
Takes forever, everyone is over it by the time it's finally done, then I speed off into the night and go get drunk with old friends.
Christmas Day means relatively little to my family except Christmas dinner.
