>Should we be scared of the FN? Should we be scared of Ms Le Pen?
>Yes.
>We should be scared of Ms Le Pen because she has repackaged some of the most destructive and sweetly persuasive ideas of both the hard right and the hard left – xenophobia, protectionism, authoritarianism – into a single, seemingly modern programme for government.
>We should be scared of Ms Le Pen because her updated politics of intolerance have invaded and hollowed out the traditional politics of the centre-right. One of most striking features of Sunday’s election result was the collapse of the vote of Nicolas Sarkozy’s supposedly moderate right, especially in southern France.

I thought France was a democrac-... oh, no it's not.

>Hurf durf
Le Pen has made everything public. She got a loan from a Russian bank, at retardedly high interest rates, after pretty much every bank in France rejected her loan application.
And even if they're some how "Russian dicksuckers", does that make them any better than the American dicksuckers? At least the Russian dicksuckers don't want to destroy national integrity.

I'm not going to defend the federal government but how can you seriously say that after Ukraine?
>>52121146
>but how can you seriously say that after Ukraine
Well, the national integrity of European nations at least. Ukraine should not be our problem, considering they're neither in the EU nor in the NATO. If the Americans and Russians want to play chess there it's fine, but the countries of Europe should stay out of it. We have no interest there.... other than EU expansion into Ukraine, ie. expanding America's sphere of influence.

>Should we be scared of the FN?
They will never win.
>>52121196
They will never win precisely because everyone else is scared of them. Just look at the regional elections yesterday: the PS retreated from the two regions where FN was strongest, so fuckin everyone would vote LR.
This is modern day democracy, a system where people don't vote for the candidate they want, but cheat the system to make sure the candidate they don't want stays ou tof power.
France is as much a two party state as America right now, with the only renegade party being classified as "far right", "nazi", "racist" and what have you.
Not that the Netherlands is any better. Our system is marked by being wish-washy nothingness where nothing ever significantly changes.
>mfw french gommies voted for the jew sarkosy just to avoid the FN
