You will probably be fine but you will definitely be questioned. They will look through your passport and any arab/muslim stamps will raise red flags. I just hope you don't have any stamps from Syria or Afghanistan, because in that case you are likely to be turned away.
I got questioned for only 2 hours because I'm blond blue-eyed Aryan, with no muslim connections whatsoever. But I did have some stamps from Istanbul and Dubai, so that was enough for them to put me in the interrogation chamber.

Better that you don't volunteer that information. If your passport doesn't have Syria/Afghanistan stamps, don't tell about it unless they ask directly. Then you can say "yea, I was in Syria 20 years ago when I was a little kid".
A good tip for making it easier on the Israeli border guard nazis: have your full itinerary and hotel bookings all printed out and with you. I knew I was going to be questioned, so I straight up told them, "yea, I'm going to West Bank". I had my Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Ramallah hotel bookings all printed out. So that did help a bit, I guess they eventually believed I'm just a traveler, since I told them I'm planning to stay in Ramallah for a night, and had a hotel booking there. Would have been quite different if I told them "I'm staying in WB with a friend."
