the slower/quieter interludes are well-placed. they create a good and heavy atmosphere.

That board became absolute cancer and they are always posting the same shit... Bosse-de-Nage is really, really cool... It's hard to find bands in that genre that don't end as a deafheaven rip-off...
So, are you into more stuff besides black metal? I'm into post-rock, folk, drone, dungeon synth, dreampop and sadcore... Sometimes i like the occasional uplifting chip-tune...
However, i think i'm going to stick full black metal for a while... It's been cold and i feel like digging again into this genre.

Honestly the last two times I was there it was to post Bosse-de-Nage's latest album to see what they thought of it.
Black metal is my metal genre of choice, but I also listen to some Thrash, and Death on occasion. Outside of metal I listen to a lot of shoegaze, post-rock, American folk, bluegrass, and some dad-rock.

As I said I love Artefact, I really like Belenos too. But when I listen to French Metal I usually listen to stuff like Manigance and Sortilège. In my opinion, that's where they shine the most. It may also come from the fact that I mostly listen to death or progressive metal (Ne Obliviscaris is my favorite group of all time).
