How cold is it getting this week around the world?

>Flagstaff, Arizona
Our weather is pretty volatile. High this week is 46F (8C), low is 0F (-18C).

Fucking global warming.

Above average, normal December highs/lows (1990-2014 average) are 5/0°C, but when the wind comes from Siberia, it may rarely get to -15

What part of Argentina do you live in? do you get snow in the winter, or are you far enough North that it's just shitty tropical weather all year round?
>>
>>52077203
>>52077286
is this the hottest winter or is something that happens every 7-10 years because El Niño?
>>
>>52077418
They said El Niño would bring 6 million metres of snow but so far we've just had storms and flooding.
>>
>>52077418
>El Niño/La Niña
These don't affect Yurop, we're just getting mild West/South-West winds from the Atlantic atm

Huntsville, Alabama
It'll rain soon, but pretty mild, a little chilly on the side. 67F (or 19C)
>>
>>52076946
52F. This is what passes for """winter""" around here.
>>
>>52077470
To be fair, they said we would get insane amounts of snow this year, but so far we've had like 4 small snow storms.

It's currently 59°F/15°C here in Michigan right now, and it's expected to rise up to 67°F/19°C later on today.

Not all of Arizona is super hot. The northern parts have a higher elevation and have a very different climate from the desert people always think of.

I used to live in Phoenix, so I know a bit about heat. It's amazing when it's raining, but as soon as it lets up it's hell. That humidity kills.

I just moved here from Phoenix this year.

So this is my first time living in a real winter.

You go to school up here?
>>52078197
My girlfriend hadn't seen snow until she was 19. It's nice for liek the day it snows and a day after, but then it turns into ice, and snowplows pile up the snow and it gets gross, and now walking or driving around town is a pain in the ass.

I live in Flagstaff, I'm assuming he does to.

It's a college town, and most students come from Phoenix, Tucson, or California.

More than half the population is students, and most of those students are experiencing a winter for their first second or third time this year.
>>
>>52078410
What can you expect from a place with so-cal imports and desert dwellers?

>>52078446
Yeah I go to school here.
I remember my first winter in flagstaff, it was fun until classes started back up.

At least you have lots of sunshine in winter, I haven't seen it for days, and also not North enough for reliable snow (there was only some wet sticky stuff here in one November night that fell at +1°C but it was gone a few hours later)
>>
>>52078581
I moved to Tucson from the midwest, funnily enough the only time I've ever had to get a car out of the snow was in AZ when my local friend drove us up to a mountain top which had snow.

Not him but this made me smile, this winter has been pretty warm and dry but usually it rains for 2 months straight here in october/novemebr so people forget what the sun looks like
>>
>>52079667
Scottsdale is the rich people area of Phoenix. I didn't go there often.

The rest of Phoenix is alright, cheap cost of living, plenty of jobs. It is kind of bland though. I don't think I'll ever move back.

It's unseasonably warm here for mid December, 55°F (13°C) right now with a high of 71°F (21°C) today.
Yesterday I went hiking in a T-shirt. It was like 74°F (22°C) and a bit muggy.

Put your fireplace screen up to reflect heat back into the fireplace rather than out into the home and burn soft wood like pine, it burns fast but doesn't throw much heat. With a screen and soft wood you can have a cosy fire even in summer.
