Brits who haven't travelled don't realise how spoilt we are by life in the UK. Things you don't take for granted, such as hardly any annoying insects, very comfortable mild and comfy weather, tv and radio that's actually quite good, pub culture, amenities within walking distance of most residential places.
People who take those for granted, and think of Australia as literally a beach and not much else, are invariably disappointed when they move abroad. Same applies to Brits moving to countries that aren't Australia
