I enjoy anime sporadically, play Nintendo and sprinkle Japanese words into my colloquial vocabulary (soga). Your culture has positively influenced my circle of friends at the very least.
Still, your troops did more or less massacred my city. Although my nonextended family didn't suffer any deaths, the overall economic and psychological damage cannot be overlooked. Sure, we shouldn't dwell on the past and I have no quarrels with this generation of Japanese, but I stand with those to want that shrine of yours demolished.
