The only half-relevant body is the UNSC, which only exists to keep non-UNSC members in line and even that's slipping. Countries routinely violate the resolutions and nobody gives a fuck.
It's a corrupt, inept, backstabbing bureaucracy whose only purpose is self-perpetuation. Every month there's another scandal about the colossal waste going on and another half-hearted UN talking head on TV saying "Yeah, we'll, uh, get right on that" while he stuffs his pockets with foie gras from the latest reception.
