What is the dumbest, most impractical language?
What about writing system?
cute
>>52044213
Thai.
languages evolved to fill specific niches, none is "impractical" or "dumb"
as for the writing system obviously logographic, we've ditched this shit thousands of years ago
>>52044213
Finnish
Chinese
some slavic meme language like polish, that can have full words that have no vowels.

There's that african language that uses mouth clicks.
>>52044766

Vietnamese by far
Full of non sense accents, shit characters and it sounds like shit as every asian language

Chinese may be harder to learn and to write, but it reads faster. It's also a lot easier to find what you're looking for if you're looking for a particular paragraph within a large text because the words look less alike than words written in Roman letters.
The spoken language also contains a relatively large amount of information per syllable.
>>52046017
and Thai of course
>>52046020
watch you fucking mouth tb.h...
>>52044213
Cue a bunch of people saying Chinese has an impractical writing system even though they've never learnt it.
>>52045716
It doesn't even have a single alphabet.
>>52047382
You know what he meant though, 3 sets of characters merged into one writing system
>>52045628
Lol are you retarded arabic writing system is very smooth and deep
>>52047382
It has Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji.
Off topic, but I'm posting this from my phone. Can someone with the regional flags plugin tell me what state this is coming from?
>>52047654
Neither Hiragana, nor Kanji, nor Katakana are an Alphabet.
>>52047703
Who gives a fuck you turbo autist
>>52047703
Hirgana and Katakana are alphabets. Kanji is not.
>>52047809
please this is a serious discussion
>>52047862
They are syllabarries. Kanjis are ideograms.

>>52048087
actually quebecy, it was a french missionary who assembled and actually developed the small texts the portuguese created
I've heard English is a pain in the ass. Hungarian and Danish are supposedly worse though.
In terms of writing systems it's definitely Japanese or Chinese.
>>52048423
>English is a pain in the ass
lel, I became fluent in 2012 just by playing online on ps3 starting in 2009.
>>52044213
Indonesian. It's the most rudimentary caveman-like system vI've ever seen. There isn't even a way to talk about things in fucking past tense. You have to say shit like "yesterday I go to store."
한글은 최고의 문자체계이다
>>52049017
How so? Just listening to other people talk?
>>52049250
Yes, this is why Malaysians use English and Mandarin as their languages of Academia.
>>52048423
You're only assuming they're impractical because you know nothing about the languages. Kanji are not as difficult as you might think since their made up of only around 220 possible components that you can memorize in a couple days, at least to recognize. It regards to reading, Kanji provide a strong visual cue as to the meaning of the word.
Look at this:
学 - To Learn, Study, branch of study
学生 - Student
大学 - University
数学 - mathematics
When reading these words phonetically in an alphabet, it's difficult to see their relation.
>>52044213
English.
>>52052688
Yes and by watching countless video game related videos on YouTube.
>>52047539
>deep
That's exactly what's wrong with it. Letter formation depends on the previous letter - that's fucking retarded. That's why Arabic (and Mandarin too) will never be a dominant world culture. Simplicity is key, dumb bitch.
>>52048423
>In terms of writing systems it's definitely Japanese or Chinese.
japanese and chinese writing system is totally different, you noob gaijin. do not together.
>>52053182
>>52053042
Also this, but I only touched on Japanese as that's what I'm currently studying. To add to my original post, both Japanese and Chinese have a lot of homophones and if they were spelt phonetically, you would not be able to differentiate them.
Swedish sounds dumb as fuck, but it is being replaced by goatfucking Arabic which sounds just as bad
For writing, any of the gook languages. Fucking hieroglyphs
