Met three of them in uni - two blokes and one sheila. The guys were exchange students from Melbourne, in a math/physics program. They seemed like a more urbane version of the typical white Canadian guy, only with a different accent.
The girl (from Canberra) was a waitress at a patisserie. I was a regular there so I spoke to her pretty often. A bit chubby but extroverted and very interesting.
One of my coworkers at my previous job (tech team at a tech startup) was also from Melbourne. He was the stereotypical genius programmer: lanky, glasses, soft-spoken, and a razor-sharp mind for everything.
Sadly, all the Cronulla-type lads seem to be in Dubai.

I had the displeasure of being around a few when I was waiting in line for a ride at an amusement park near Kansas City. There were 3 of them and I assumed they were on vacation.
