It's different.
Tea is subtler, mate is very potent like herbal tea. I like to sip mate during the day, but tea is great on evenings or late afternoon.
I'm French, I love the franco-german channel "Arte" it's amazing . the whole national TV and radio has a very high intellectual and cultural level. I think that's one of the cornerstone of the preservation of our culture and the education of our people.

I think France would disagree with that statement.
Like denmark, netherland make okay cheese, pretty good smoked ones and a few aged hard paste ones that are God tier. But on overall they have little variety and it's all pasteurized. They focused too much on high productivity industrial methods.
Today even UK and US east coast have more variety of cheeses.

Earl grey is to tea what Boone's is to wine or what Strongbow is to beer.
It's a product imitating the original with an altered taste to please the normies that can't handle bitterness and strong flavours.
Earl grey is okay I suppose but it's not tea, it doesn't taste like tea, it just looks like it.

Soz I wrongly quoted you for the tea post.
Meh dude its okay admit it.
Your cheese are still among the top 10% in the world and it's rather normal for you to prefer the one originating from your own culture.
There is a true cheese culture and people eat a lot of it, but there isn't much variety and everything is pasteurized.
Everything is a hard paste, with a few hints of blue cheese here and there. It's like an infinite variation of gouda, like when england was a whole palette of cheddars.

English Breakfast is basically the most common variety here - it's what we mean when we refer to tea, even though many people here who drink tea probably don't know that it's English Breakfast because most of the time it's just marketed as standard teabags. Other variants will have their name shown, e.g. Earl Grey, Chai, etc. They're all girls' drinks though. Stick to builder's tea (i.e., English Breakfast).
Twinings is one of the biggest brands here (although a very posh and upmarket brand really) so yeah, it's legit. The most popular mid-market brands are things like PG Tips and Tetleys but maybe you don't get those.
>>52005912
Yorkshire tea is definitely the best just because it's a bit stronger. But you could just use two regular teabags if you wanted to replicate that.

Standard Uruguayan Castillian has none; however, there are two local dialects that might interest you; Riverense (Portuguese base, Castillian and Leonese* influence), and a rural dialect from Treinta y Tres with some Portuguese influence, but Spanish base, already almost extinct.
