Yeah, we do. Canada has lots of Ukrainian descendants so we tend to stick our nose in their business for good or bad. My government also supposedly sent over a some aid during the protests and bitched at Russia quite a bit early when the fighting started.
One of my cousins went over there a few months ago and said some of there guys were using old Canadian military stuff we gave them. Plus we've been sending some money to them. Mostly it's done to pander to Ukrainian Canadians like myself in hopes for votes.

I get you but the flood of Ukrainians immigration was probably a hundred years ago and small trickles during economic/ stability troubles.
There was really nothing in the news about Ukrainian refugees coming to Canada. No efforts like what's being done with Syrians, just small amounts of people who probably wanted to join family or snuck in on a tourist visa.
