I used to also be infatuated with America. In my first year of uni I learned how to make "sloppy joes" and made it a few times because I thought there was a novelty to it. It is actually quite tasty (but I may as well just make bolognese which is both tastier and healthier). Used to only really want to listen to American music for a while and watch American TV shows too.
