I shouldn't have left two windows open for two weeks while I was gone, now my apartment is way too cold and even the heater on full blast has yet to help so I am sitting here in a proper jacket and put the pizza bread rolls I ordered for dinner underneath the jacket to warm myself while I finish the pizza first.

What's life like for tradesmen and construction workers in Japan?
I only hear about the brutal workloads the office drones have to contend with. I never hear shit about the electricians, scaffolders, builders, plumbers, etc.
Is there the same corporate/feudal mentality going on in those industries? Are they seen as prestigious industries? Can one easily support a family with a tradesman job?

Maybe I overdid it with the packing though, I wrapped it in recycled paper for the aesthetics and then tied it up with hemp cord with an archive knot so you can easily open it by pulling on the string because I thought a bow would look kinda gay and any other knot would be too bothersome to open without scissors and then I fixed the string and envelope with the letter to the packed gift with red seal wax and my seal stamp thing (I only have one with a sun shape).
It actually looked pretty twee and shit but maybe it will come off too fanboyish. Like who just sends a bag and other random stuff.

Another thing I forgot to mention is the classes are literally filled in my unit, so the teacher is always very busy, having to respond to a bunch of students with varying skill levels.
