Assuming you're not being stabbed, Jerusalem is pretty nice. Memes aside:

>people are pretty nice generally
>tons of languages, so you can easily find people that speak yours
>not too urban, not too rural
>great public transit
It's not perfect, I suppose, as there are Muslims, occasional riots, and it's pretty expensive. All in all, though, it's 5/5 bretty comfy.
