Serbia was basically an Al Qaeda tier state that was constantly starting shit with Austria-Hungary. And this isn't some sort of American anti-Serb propaganda bullshit either, our high school history textbooks paint it as if mean old Austria was bullying tiny little Serbia by making these demands. Reading books on the Bosnian Crisis makes it pretty clear Serbia was making agreements they had no intention of following and were committed to seizing Bosnia regardless of any promises they made.
