Not really. Only time I have ice in a drink is if I'm drinking whiskey or some type of mix drink/ cocktail. I don't really drink much pop (soda, fizzy drinks) but if it is already cold I don't add ice. But it is very common for people to put ice in most beverages over here. Ice water isn't good for your body on hot days, but people never believe me when I tell them that.
