A bunch of Chinese I spoke to tought Taylor Swift were literally the highest achievement in western musical history.
A girl from Kenya was totally alien to concepts such as 'conservatism', 'secularism' or any political ideology for that matter.
I had to deal with other people from Asia, and they were almost totally unaware of WW1&2.
A girl from Taiwan did not know about the holocaust.
