Our metro system is closed for a few hours during the night but it's heated so homeless people can stay there to sleep during the night as long as they don't wander onto the rails

>Some 24 hour service
All stations are open 24/7, the only difference is that most of the express trains run local.

Anyways, what's up with London? You guys are cost-neutral, yet you build tunnels so tiny you can't even fit A/C on your trains, and all your trains are maxed out to capacity because you aren't building anymore. I know there's Crossrail, but is that it? You guys have a Tokyo-tier system, I don't get why it isn't expanding. We're not much better, but we have to play catchup since nobody took care of the system for 40 years and we lose $21B a year in operating expenses alone, and even then we're spending about $6B a year in capital construction and upgrades.

Shit's old fám, Some of our infrastructure is over 100 years old. The mayor actually bought a bunch of new fancy trains and then realised that some lines couldn't even fit them in the tunnels so some lines are nice, new, spacious and air conned and some are literally tin cans that have people pass out on them every year.

Oh yea, and general government incompetence.

But what about the Jubilee and Victoria lines? I get that it's cheaper to have them all the same size, but it's ridiculous that even in the 90s they were building lines to standards from the 1800s.
