Anyways, what's up with London? You guys are cost-neutral, yet you build tunnels so tiny you can't even fit A/C on your trains, and all your trains are maxed out to capacity because you aren't building anymore. I know there's Crossrail, but is that it? You guys have a Tokyo-tier system, I don't get why it isn't expanding. We're not much better, but we have to play catchup since nobody took care of the system for 40 years and we lose $21B a year in operating expenses alone, and even then we're spending about $6B a year in capital construction and upgrades.

They're constructing a new metro line going from north of the city (across the river IJ) to the point where the green and orange lines intersect. This took years and will take many more years since the line directly goes under the old city center of Amsterdam and they faced a lot of problems because of it. As it looks it will finally be opened in 2017
