Uhh, I always thought Rissoles/Rissóis were Brazilian. But yeah, I love them.
I like Torta Holandesa ('Dutch Pie', but it has nothing to do with Netherlands) quite a lot.
>>51852839
those things remind me of içli köfte
>>51856724
Those are also very, very popular here in Brazil. We call them "Kibes".

They may look like pancakes, but they are actually sveler. They have a very characteristic taste, because it uses bicarbonate as a raising agent.

you mean esfihas ? I dont think they are popular here but they look a lot like "pide"
Americans, please tell me about your delis and sandwiches.
The reuben sandwich, the club sandwich, the BLT, the philly cheese steak, the PB&J, Po'Boy, Gerber, the "Beef on weck"?
There are so many.
How does one properly prepare a sandwich? Just put stuff between slices of bread? Is there some kind of secret to it? What kind of sauce is used? How do you get the cheese to melt?
I have a pie iron, that I often use to make sandwiches, but they never turn out that good. Certainly edible, but not fantastic.

Is it weird that I always at them cold?

Head of any animal is usually the best part, but it's still off-putting to see it.
This is why we eat it in stew form
