Uhhh, guysss? We all know this is a waste of tax payers money right? It's not a huge mystery. Young girls suffering from drug and alcohol addiction hitchhike along an isolated and desolate highway and get picked off because the murderers are either
A) a known family member or acquaintance or B) know that their dysfunctional family wont notice in their drugged/drunk state
I'm not sure what revolutionary findings they'll get from spending money on this broad and obviously aimless 'investigation', beyond realizing that natives need to get their shit together at a societal level.

I don't know about that, I do know many of those women that went missing were runaways or known prostitutes. It's not a huge conspiracy of some hate crime against native women that they get killed, it's that their society allows them to be vulnerable to such situations. Yeah the natives are trying to turn their disappearances into some sort of victimization thing when really everyone knows it's them killing each other or simply wandering off and ODing in the woods. Their suicide rates are super fucking high especially among youth.

It's not my despair, it's our despair. With oil gone, the only real money to be made is by housing or services to immigrants.
This is just a drop of the hat what the government is going to do. They already announced their tax plan is 1 billion short of revenue. They could quickly fix that by cancelling the Syrian refugees which cost the same amount.
