TOP KEK SLAVSHIT!!!
Oh believe you me, us Turks are ITCHING for a war with Russia. We will fucking ANNIHILATE your dirty country. There wouldn't be a square meter of Russian soil that has running water, electricity, or petrol that isn't on fire, once our airforce and navy is done bombarding your defenseless country. Then, our army boys (we'd send the asylum-seekers and other mongrel races first) would swoop in, raping your women, and killing EVERY slavshit shit they see. When Turkey's done with you, we will have committed acts of genocide. Of course no one is gonna do shit about it

So this thread is as good a place to ask, is Turkey actually supporting ISIS or what? I've been hearing conflicting reports and want to know Turkish anons take on this
>>
>>51839667
Well, may be not supporting but benefiting from it for sure.
>>
>>51839667
>Turkey hates Kurds
>ISIS kills Kurds

Simple really. Also oil.
>>
>>51839667
Basically these >>51839897
>>51839964

I honestly don't think the government actively supports ISIS. Erdogan is not even islamist, the guy is just a poser and populist. He gets on the good side of the conservative people because that's what gets you votes here. Even then the support for islamic rule(sharia) is fairly low here, around 10 percent.

I don't refuse the fact that we benefit from ISIS activities in Syria, especially against Assad, BUT, they are also beneficial to the USA and her allies.
>>
>>51840607
OK, thanks for the response, but I have another question: are you saying Turkey is beneficial to the US or ISIS is beneficial? If ISIS, could you please explain how?
>>
>>51840775
ISIS if beneficial to NATO basically. A few years ago there was a plan to build pipelines from Qatar to Turkey and Europe, through Syria of course. Assad refused it because it would lower the Europe's dependency for gas and oil to Russia. Shitstorm began in Syria to remove Assad and finally the Russians actively took the charge because things seemed to be going pretty sour for Assad. In this context, ISIS is actively fighting against Syria and Russia, destabilizing the region and if they win, there would be a huge power gap since the government is toppled. Then the West can put a guy who will do what they say and Russia gets fucked.

Fuck me this is is just a huge fucking mess, fucking CIA
>>
>>51841175
Middle East is a harsh place my friend, years later when this is all over(hopefully) people will most likely call this the continuation of the Cold War or something like that. Two major sides passively fighting each other for power through proxy wars and shit. NATO will most likely win but you can't blame the Russians for trying right?
>>
>>51841088
Why would you build it through Syria and not the western allies Jordan and Israel? This doesn't make sense.
>>
>>51841477
As their last final breath of being a "Global power" I guess so, its still all just so stupid and to its core about greed on both sides
>>
>>51841637
Because it has to go through Turkey and Syria is basically in the way. We don't have borders with neither Jordan nor Israel. Check a map of Middle East.
>>
>>51841809
Why Through turkey? Just build a port in Israel. Ships are in general cheaper than pipelines for oil.
>>
>>51841864
Because then Turkey would still be dependent on Russians and that is not good for NATO. If West does that and basically ignores Turkey, we might end up being close friends with the Russians leaving NATO etc. Unlike memes in /int/ and /pol/, Turkey has a big geopolitical value which the NATO doesn't want on the Russian side.

>>51841864
Oh I forgot to mention the fact that the moment NATO abondons Turkey will be the moment we become bffs with Russians. Kinda bitchy thing but you know politics and shit.
>>
>>51835035
Oh well, I suppose you will be leaving Norway very soon and join the turkish military since you feel so confident in that war and write the way you do. Good bye don't let us keep you.
>>
>>51842816
do foreigners have to live in norway to get welfare benefits?
>>
>>51842935
No, but Norway and Sweden are very generous with their welfare so many flock to it, other European nations have strong welfare systems as well, but the Scandis really take the kuk cake
>>
>>51835035
Turkey v Russia 1 on 1 would be a dope fucking war.

It would re-awaken the slumbering longing for an Orthodox Constantinopel.

Read Spengler's essay on Russia. He describes a mystical yearning in the Russian soul to an Orthodox corridor to and including Constantinopel. In the Russo-Turkish conflict of the 19th century the Slavophiles were aroused, Dostoevsky started to have visions about a Holy War and a Holy Plight of Christian Russia.
