Kebab isn't really a thing in America. It's nothing lie in Europe where every city will have a few kebab places. It's a relatively obscure food here.

This. For the longest time I thought this is what everybody on /int/ was referring to because I didn't know there was other kinds of kebab, and I had no idea it was a Muslim thing before /int/. I've never even eaten a kebab or seen a vendor anywhere.
