start by destroying every document you have that has left-right pattern and write jiaguwen from top to bottom to preserve your precious culture :^)
People don't like Traditional Chinese for the strokes are too many, time-comsuming learning, etc
What do you want to learn Traditional Chinese?
I have known several european can write Traditional on int, it would be weird if Mainlander knows Traditonal not very well but whites know the Traditional very well
