I'm writting story based on the mysterious Hinterkaifeck murder. But I ought to know, what does "Hinterkaifeck" actually means? I know it's the name of the place and it might not have a specific meaning like any surname, but still, you you analyze the roots of the word, can you come up with a meaning? I think Kaifeck is just the name of the Dorf it took place in. Hinter probably is referring to the fact that it's out in the country. Like Hinterland or the "backwoods" as we Americans would say.
