Killing is one of the major sins. It's still controversial though. Some Salafi (ISIS) scholars say it's okay since they kill people for the religion. On the other hand, things like that (violence, domination, globalisation etc.) have no place in Sufi Islam.
I don't think I'm religious by the way. It's just the idea of hell that keeps me from killing myself, honestly.
