>mfw no tools to learn Japanese at the quality Duolingo brings
Not so fast nihon thread.
lmao, this gotta be a joke. Then again, one should never underestimate how stupid americans can be, particularly regarding foreign languages.

Get out. You have no resources and nothing to contribute to this thread (or society).

Says the useless fat american weeb, lel.
Just check out /int/'s wiki. Or even better, /a/'s DJT. Seriously, you're asking for "something of duolingo's quality" when there's fucking GENKI (arguably one of the best language books ever made). The amount of AMAZING resources available to learn Japanese is just absurd, yet you still ask for FUCKING DUOLINGO. You're disgusting.

I looked at /int/'s wiki. Wasn't impressed with the Japanese resources. I never use /a/, but I guess I'll give their thread a shot. Also, Duolingo > books. If you argue this, you're a moron.
>learning c.uckanese
literally why?
I'd learn arabic instead

Yeah, sorry. I forgot Americans are allergic to books.
>>51725713
Because Japanese is a prettier language. I tried learning Arabic once, but it was just too ugly for me. Plus, who would I communicate with if I actually became fluent? Muslims?
i don't want to ruin your "laziness is a blessing" but learning japanese is really simple
watch loads of anime ,years worth, and learn the katakana and hiragana
that's it, obviously you won't be conversational but you can be introductory

>Duolingo > books
is this bait?
>>51726134
Does duolingo teach you wrong or something? Or is it accurate, just not comprehensive?
>>51726395
your knowledge is not practical
>>51726395
it is one small resource you should be using among many others and is mostly useful as a way to memorize vocabulary than anything else.
>>51726421
OK. I was thinking about using it to learn the basics and see if I want to continue learning a language. So I should be good.
