i genuinely don't think you know what a college is (which figures considering canada's unis are ranked in the pits of that list)

The list is clearly shit. McGill's research and funding for the last five years has absolutely plummeted; the University of Toronto (which uses the college system) has irrefutably surpassed it, especially in terms of published papers and discoveries. The University of British Columbia has also essentially superseded it in most areas; McGill maintains a 3rd rank amongst almost all lists ranking Canadian universities international or otherwise. Most lists also position the UoT in 20th place and UBC/McGill around 30-35, and the former two (UoT/UBC) rank considerably higher in lists only counting public schools.
But all this is secondary to the point that you will NEVER, EVER know the hedonistic joys of living in a frat house
