>tfw you don't live near the Ocean where the real scary shit is
I'll take the bears and mountain lions any day of the week
>scared of water
Not white
>>51701671
water has no limits
it is huge and unknown
Shark attacks aren't common in australia, its nice living by the sea, all the fresh seafood you could want, that wonderful ocean breeze too, I'd choose the sea over abos and venomous snakes in the outback any day
I AM THE PRIMORDIAL SERPENT, DARKSTALKER KAATHE.
>>51701844
no one here is talking about sharks
>>51701941
Then what scary shit could anyone be talking about, also living by the sea doesn't mean deep ocean either, that's the only thing I could OP might be refering to if not sharks.

every deep sea animal ever
and we don't know most of the sea animal species
>>51702370
>this guy bites your girlfriend's ass, what do ?
>>51702232
Most of that is deep ocean brah, you have little to fear that shit if you live right on the coast, most of those encounters are when giant squid die and wash up on shore
deep sea is fascinating

>tfw the deep sea has been a source of several of my nightmares
>>51702370

>>51702680
How have you never heard of a Goblin Shark before, bud?
>>51702939
Just couldn't recall the name
>>51702370
>and we don't know most of the sea animal species
This is bullshit, from the people who want to belive that the oceans are something special.
>we have literally went to mars
>we havent explored all our oceans
pick 1.
Nothing special about the oceans, they might be few species that havent seen before but nobody gives a shit and they are not relevant
>Have a Marine Biology degree
Pussies.
>>51703415
It's easier to explore a place under a pressure of 0~1 atmosphere than another under 1072 atmospheres.
i would rather be killed by a lion or a bear than a shark, or some other horrible sea beast
you're probably fucked either way, but at least being killed by a beast on land, you FEEL like you could do something, you know? like at least TRY to run away?
you aint swimmin or doin shit vs a shark.
>>51707978
>Have a Marine Biology degree
>flip burgers at mcd
>>51710018
I always wanted to do that. Too bad it's what you said.
>>51701635
What do you know about scary shit...
>>51709979
Do you even suffocation, when you're deprived of air underwater you feel a sense of euphoria, now the sea water getting into your lungs will hurt but not as much as being eaten alive by lion or a bear being ripped apart slowly.
This is just when you know you will die in both land and water instances, yes there is a chance of surviving on land but so is there in the water, surfers and stuff know to gouge the eye of the shark if possible or punch the nose of the shark because its sensitive in those areas and they will likely fuck off after you do this.

>tfw a group of pilot whales have been spotted and you just hope they will be driven to another village so you don't have to join the hunt and work for 7-8 hours to get some bad meat
living on some shitty rocks in the North Atlantic sucks desu
