No because Inuits are experienced outdoorsmen and never go out on the ice without a rifle.

Mostly it's China and other 3rd world countries. Alberta is a drop in the bucket vs. the output China spits out.

Much of the tar sands are shut down right now anyways due to oil dollar. They don't really make money operating with oil dollar this low.

That makes it all the better when you can finally make it there. Otherwise it ends up as a hokey tourist trap like most of our national parks
>>

Have you ever heard of a river that isn't connected to the ocean? Have you ever seen a river? Don't you ever wonder where all that water ends up?
>>
>>51674848
No, a river is not connected to the ocean, if it is, then it is not a river, it is bay. Rivers are freshwater, bays are saltwater. Checkmate
>>
>>51674848
>Have you ever heard of a river that isn't connected to the ocean?

Okavango, Jordan and Volga, to name a few.
>>
>>51674197
Do you think there would be a market for that?
>>
>>51675262

>Australian shitposting is so advanced I can't tell if he is serious
Just in case you are actually this stupid, rivers all flow into the ocean eventually. Then the river water gets salty in the estuary/delta. NorwayAnon just pointed out some other rivers though, some certain ones drain into very large, ocean like places. Either way, it shouldn't surprise you that one of the largest countries in the world has a river following into the ocean.
>>
>>51674129
Where do you live, yo?
also lewd
>>
Christ I would never live there.

All the modern comforts that I take for granted, nunavut is there.
>>
>>51671055
Alcoholism, childhood trauma, inbreeding, 15 dollar carrots, and dialup tier internet.

The soul sucking despair is so great it has the highest suicide rate in the Americas.
>>
I have a theory, which I based off Stan Roger's song "Northwest Passage."

Every 30 years, a lone Canadian man will be called to go north to make a pilgrimage, for in this land there is a sacred place that all Canadians must speak about with hushed tones and to make their children behave.

Because trapped within these ancient glaciers, is an elder god, with whom Canadians must perform a ritual of pilgrimage that will inevitably end in the man's death, so that it will not awaken and destroy the world.
>>
>>51677829
I thought they had faster internet than most of Canada, thanks to satellites.
>>
>>51678020
Shh, there are things we do not discuss with outsiders.
>>
>>51678074
Satellites are actually really slow (as in ping speed) even if they have good bandwidth, which in Nunavut they don't. On top of that the data caps are hella low. It's quicker and cheaper to mail your friends an external hard drive and a list of torrents you want and have them mail it back to you. Literally.
>>
>>51678020
LOL why you posting a picture of the Tungsten in Russia? That has nothing to do with the story!

No that goes to good old Greenland

Portal to the abyss wherein the old gods that Canadians worship slumber. Before Canadians were there, the Inuit threw their children there, during their raw seal flesh eating festivities.

That's not Nunavut. It's the Northwest Territories. Close, but not Nunavut.
