Don't do it unless you want to get shot, OP. There have been several incidents where people for whom the party was being thrown have gunned down their own family and friends, thinking they were burglars sneaking around with the lights off.
If you don't get shot you could get a hefty fine, or you could get shot by the police if you don't walk outside with hands up and loudly announce your presence as they arrive. They spook easily.
