There is technically no limit on how long compound word can be, but the longest compound word in use is "atomiydinenergiareaktorigeneraattorilauhduttajaturbiiniratasvaihde" which is some part of the nuclear plant.
Then the currently longest non-compound word in Finnish is "kumarreksituteskenteleentuvaisehkollaismaisekkuudellisenneskenteluttelemattomammuuksissansakaankopahan". Something gets probably bowed at, but fuck if I know.
