Contemporary 2bh. Though legends speak of kings living at Uppsala as far back as the third century. On the other hand I assume Poles have such legends too.
But I think historically there hasn't been much cultural exchange between Sweden and Poland at all really. Our similarities are probably more due to our mutually close exchanges with the Germans.

Actually Sven Tveskägg(Sweyn Forkbeard) exiled Swietoslava back to Poland before he died. And Sweyn never ruled anything more than Denmark and partially England.
Mieszko was not the first ruler of Poland nor was Erik Segersäll the first ruler of Sweden but they are the first properly historically documented. Sweden and Poland as political entitites are of similar age plain and simple.
