gaddafi was taken out for 100% economic reasons

the "le human rights abuse noooo" is just the official story for this, if we actually gave a fuck about human rights we wouldn't support the saudis

its honestly fucked up but fucking over libya and gaddafi was probably the best option for the world economy

saddam on the other hand shouldn't have been taken out, the motive behind his ousting was 70% military industrial complex ties with people like Cheney

honestly this isn't even conspiracy, this is commonly accepted reasoning for american intervention in Libya.

what am i even supposed to prove? gaddafis work on the gold currency with OPEC nations is public domain, as well as the how the fluctuation of oil prices through saudi artificial restraint and release effects economies world wide. as for the gold currency giving increased power to opec nations and undermining the petro dollar it is just basic logic, to begin with the point of the gold currency was to do just this
>>
>>51633224
america has the biggest reserves of gold in the world, and has the power to buy most of the rest of them

if the worls suddenly became a gold backed economy, america would still be at the top

>opec nations and undermining the petro dollar
opec created the petrodollar, if anything, it damaged opec

it was not in pro american interests, it was in pro saudi and israeli interests

the point of the gold currency was to move the oil industry in the middle east off of the petro dollar, making it so other countries did not need to keep us dollar reserves in order to buy oil in times of need, this leads towards slight destabilization of the us dollar but more importantly it allows for the OPEC nations to better do buisiness with other nations in other currencies, this would be most effective with nations like China that are making strong movements towards leaving the US dollar completely, allowing them to not need to have us dollar stores because of the petro dollars influence would help for china to grow independently, a threat to american interests (also israeli but quite honestly there isn't much of a difference between the two as is). whether or not the us has a lot of gold isn't relevant, the point was to move the oil industry away from the us dollar specifically, there was nothing wrong with continuing to do business with the US.
