Iceland has received 189 asylum requests in 2015, in 2014 there were fewer, but until now the state has accepted around 8% of requests, this rate is expected to go up as the Syrian crisis and refugee crisis deepens, so far this year 12% of requests have been accepted.
Assuming that all requests will be accepted and the rate will go up to 100%, as there has been pressure to do both from the EU and leftists in Iceland, 189 asylum seekers will be accepted.
