Because here is just a board for disrespectful discussion of world cultures, there are a large number of banters against your precious country on /int/.
Many of them are just bullshit which is even not worth listening to, but sometimes anons post truly triggering matters about your country, which may make you feel like "wtf? In fact my country is not as bad as you banter!! On the contrary it even has many superior points such as X and Y, which your shithole cunt will never achieve!!"

I realized during the Iraq War years that I hate my country for completely different reasons that foreigners hate it.
While this makes me even more contemptuous of their opinions, life is not a balance beam and the US gains nothing from the comparison.
Proud of the UK in many respects but we're also naturally self depreciating.
Banter is banter. Valid points and meaningful discussion comes separately. I've yet to have some kind of revelation or learn of a serious problem about my home from /int/ that I wasn't already aware of.
I think the only way you could learn anything about your own country's problems from int is by being blindly nationalistic or ignorant.
