Why do anti-gun Australians have a very distinct, snide way of addressing Americans when talking about gun laws? Do they get paid in bandwidth and fairy bread every time they elicit an angry American response?

I actually wrote this Pastebin that uses data to pick apart most of the common arguments because I needed a way to refute their arguments without wasting my time feeding them. I'm asking this as a mostly cultural question of why their mode of shit posting and trolling is so distinctive from people of other countries with similar opinions.

what the fuck is anti-gun? do you mean pro gun regulation?
is someone who lobbies to get rid of drivers licenses so absolutely anyone can drive any car or truck they want pro-car while someone who wants to keep licensing anti-car?

To be more clear, gun laws have had virtually no effect on violent crime in the United States. I believe Australia actually saw a rise in such after the 1990s confiscation though all of my data is US-centric. See pastebin in OP.

Nobody in Australia gives a fuck about guns except for a handful of hipster faggots who own Guy Fawkes masks and go on spontaneous "anti-racism" protests.

You can believe what you want to believe and me as well or you can provide data to back up your statement, like I did for my US analysis. Or you can do the most rational thing which is not argue with a burger on the net.

I actually have a fondness for Straya and Canada for some reason. Though they both seem to be run by huge SJWs now.

Friend, it's a pointless cause. People don't change their opinions because people here tell them they're wrong. My pastebin here has a lot of good data and addresses the most common arguments but I wrote it specially so I can keep arguing to a minimum.

What sort of employers? Why don't you guys have any tech booms like us with your high educational standards? Or are those overstated like they are here?

>>51585812
See http://pastebin.com/xqDiLnnP . Gun violence stats are a false indicator, overall violent crime must be viewed state by state with different gun laws between each. Smh.

Were Canada desu, except not as keked. And with our guns, no one is against it (besides liberals). But everytime a shooting or a violent crime happens the government uses that as an excuse to disarm people. Theres barely any shootings, but our government doesn't care, because were good goys. And no ones going to do a thing about it. Hell look at what our govt does, sell large amounts of land to the chinks and they do this publically, not even privately, so its obvious they've got us in a kekold. Basically no freedom, no freedom of speech, LITERALLY JUST FUCK OUR SHIT UP

Can't you just drive to another state and get a gun? The premise for your entire pastebin is depending on this not being possible.

Oh. Sorry for the boring questions, I just don't know much about Australia though it sounds like a cool place in general except for the SJWs.

>>51585971
Canada is cool! I went up to Niagara Falls a bunch of times. Your description of the politics sounds fairly accurate though. Shame about the lack of freedom of speech.

>>51586054
Federal law states that you cannot legally purchase a firearm in any capacity from someone in another state if such a sale would not be legal in your home state. So, the only way to get around state laws would be to violate them, which is a moot point when talking about laws.
>>
>>51586054
not from a licensed dealer, you could buy legally from a guy on the street (provided its a legally owned firearm and legal in the state you live in)
>>
>>51585912
If I remember correctly Australia exports a lot of lumber to China
>>
>>51586109
How is that a logical reasoning? It's obviously not a moot point, as the discussion revolves aound how accessible guns are in the US.
>>
>>51586138
Meat and milk are big ones right now.
>>
>>51586209
If you read the pastebin I've been spamming you'd see that there is virtually no correlation between laws and violent crime. This means that there are plenty of areas with very lax gun laws that also have much lower violent crime than those that do have very strict gun laws.

http://pastebin.com/xqDiLnnP

Population density was a much more effective predictor on a national level. Again, read it. Jfc.

>>51586296
Look at my first post, I know what you're trying to say. I am saying your argumentation is logically flawed, it doesn't account for very real circumsyances, and the pastebin is as a result completely useless. Explain to me why my first post is a moot point.
>>
>>51586296
>virtually no correlation between laws and violent crime.

YOU CANT MAKE THIS SHIT UP
>>
>>51586209
Basically, to sum it up, there are plenty of places with very loose gun laws where you could argue it's easier for a criminal to get a gun, like Maine, but they can still enjoy low rates of violent crime. Guns are a non issue. Look at poverty instead.

>>51586138
>>51586229
Ahhh ok.

>>51586373
More or less.

>>51586417
Please be more clear with what you're saying.
>>
>>51586417
Okay, so what you're saying is that guns are accessible to criminals in the US, much more so than in other countries. I would certainly agree with you. A study "Homicide in Eight Cities" done by our government found that more than 55% of criminals acquired their firearms from family, friends, and off the street.

My point is that this is support for the idea that restrictions do very little. As you've said, guns are much more available here. My point is that the restrictions are unnecessary since they do very little for crime while only taking rights away from law abiding citizens. So the data still stands. Quite a stretch you're making while I have to provide the evidence for your own argument. Your opinion here on out is discarded.
>>
>>51586536
I don't think I cant be any clearer than in my first post, but I'll explain it further. It's stupidly easy to get a gun if you want one, legally or illegally doesn't matter as long as they are so easy to acquire. You're looking at one factor and neglecting everything else at the same time.

Maine is a rich state in the north east right? Not a shock that it would have a low amount of gun related violence. A bunch of poor people and loads of guns is a bad mix.
>>
>>51586649
If you can buy a gun over the counter it's naturally gonna be easier to acquire ilegally through people willing to get them for you. I'll not look for evidence for something as obvious as that.
>>
>>51585367
I think they're just winding ya up m8 don't pay them too much attention.
>>
because they are keks that enjoy having their rights eroded by a nanny state
