Black people blindly voted for Obama even when he said shit they disagreed with. People tend to sympathize more with people of their own race. The more multicultural a country is, the more focus there is on race.
American democrats are incredibly racism-phobic but the other half is the exact opposite. The American right hates being PC, hates mexicans, muzzies, and darkies, and hates San Franciscan white kid hippies. Our media hates that side of us so if our tv shows and movies are all you know about us we seem incredibly left.
