I was thinking about something a "little" different from what you've translated. I thought the blonde guy was like a relative or something to the dark haired one and he got mad because the other one betrayed him.

BTW Grotesco is a portuguese word too. It means "ridiculous". It's probably one of those words that is present in every language.
