Are dumplings the most international food?
It seems like every culture has their own variant of them

At least in my country, we distinguish between dumplings in the German style (knoedels) and dumplings in the Italian style (ravioli, pierogi). Eastern European countries usually have both.

I prefer to call them piroške, it sounds more Slavic that way :D
Our native name for them is žlikrofi (which sounds like žlica + krof = spoon-donut), but das gay.
