I barely speak one language, actually, considering modern Hebrew is a mess.
Whoever thought trying to revive a Semitic language, teaching it to speakers of a Germanic language (Yiddish) and letting these speakers teach it to their children UNSUPERVISED was a good idea, probably didn't think very far.

It already feels like the younger kids have a perfect understanding of what the language should look like, but it's so frustrating for us, second and third generation native speakers, who can barely even think freely in the language without having to deal with linguistic guilt.
Hebrew will end up being an OKAY language overall, but I hope other nations will learn their lesson and won't make a linguistic experiment out of an ethnic group, consisting of millions of people.
