While marijuana has an addictivity rating of 1.51 (above LSD, solvents, MDMA and GHB, among others) it still isn't very addictive. Compare the 1.51 addictivity rating of pot to the afdictivity rating of 1.93 that Alcohol has, and the rating of nicotine, 2.21.
This isn't even getting into "legal" script drugs like benzos and opiates which are arguably harder on the body (benzodiazepine withdrawals can cause seizures). Comparatively to any pharms or legal intoxicants like nicotine and alcohol, marijuana is rather tame.
Heroin has an additivity rating of 3. That is twice the addictivity rating of marijuana.
Marijuana does kill brain cells though and that can't be disputed. However all drugs do so and the dangerous ones also kill the dopamine receptors, which can cause anhedonia over time.
Also pot can limit the risk of cancer but doesn't prevent it like some dumb tards think. CBD is actually a very small % of a typical joint. If you really want the bullshit medicinal effects of marijuana, CBD oil is a safer, legal, and less cartels supporting way of doing so.
