When I studied in Toronto last year the first thing that happened to me when I arrived was that Canadians approached me and asked me if I was fine getting settled in. They even offered to show me around and help me with any Canada related issues. Every Canadian I met was the upmost friendly and kind and would bend over backwards to help me in any way I needed. They all were intelligent and I have nothing but kind words to say about Canadians. Even to this day I am still in contact with all of the Canadian friends I made while studying abroad. There was not one time where a Canadian was rude to me and was not friendly and helpful. The only problems I encountered with people in Toronto were Pakistanis and Iranians.
