I still preferred 1. Classic 40's/50's atmosphere, more laid-back, less angst, vintage gangster action and a fantastic climax scene.
2 was very good but it was kind of depressing, Michael kills everyone and his wife is a whore.
3 isn't terrible, it isn't artistic but it's an iteration.
