Started my first real job 6 weeks ago. For the second biggest company (IT sector) in my city which is a great employer. Got it after like 10 applications and it was the first interview I had.
Feels pretty fucking good.

I work in a grocery store as well. I make 2.25 above minimum wage. My boss is a really cool woman and I'm basically assistant manager and am allowed to do whatever I want and get left alone by all the other management to do my own thing. I smoke a lot of weed at work somedays and no one notices/says shit. I'm university educated and am definitely under achieving but the job is comfy right now.

I have a year and a half left in my degree, I'm 23 and I want to do something to increase my employability, like look for an internship, but I will have to look after my disabled mum both by living with her and supporting financially after uni. We live in countryside near nojobs. My degree is barely even worth getting (philosophy BA) without the networking my half-decent uni allows but I don't have the energy for that shit. It was a hell of a decision just coming back knowing how much of a help I could be at home. Thinking about the future sucks a million dicks.
