So when native Mexicans pronounced the country's name they say 'Meh-hee-koh' while in America we pronounce it 'Meck-Zick-Oh'. Does the 'x that sounds like an h' come from a precolombian native language or from Spanish?

Pre-Colombian Mexico was pronounced Meh-she-co. More like Meh-she-ca since Mexico is named after the Mexica, which was the main ethnic group of the Aztec empire.
